Alan is an excellent electrician. But more than that, he is a consummate professional. He is very reliable and always on time and makes suggestions as he learns what his customers want. He is also patient with some of us homeowners when we change our minds about what lights we want to install. He’ll also hang a picture or two if he has the time. Highly recommend!

I was looking forward someone to install a lawn light and Alan was referred to me by a neighbor.  Upon placing a call to them, Alan promptly returned the call and set an installation date. He was timely, professional  and ready to work.  He had to remove old light and install new but ran into an issue using old "guts" which meant a run to get parts to complete the job promptly.  He immediately  returned and completed  the job the proper way. In addition, he also addressed two others concerns with the same service  call without hesitation.  I would highly recommend  Alan if have electrical needs.

I am so glad I was referred to Torchia Electric. Al returned my call promptly and came to my home the next day. It was after hours, so I assumed he’d come over, look at the job and quote me a price. Instead, he immediately began diagnosing the problem, searching from basement to attic crawl space, to determine where the problem was. Within a couple of hours, electricity was restored to my living room and old wires were replaced with new ones. Al is extremely professional, highly skilled, and very friendly. Alan has done a lot of work for us over the years.  Most recently he rewired our entire 3rd floor and dropped ceiling lights into all of our second floor bedrooms and hallways.  We are in a large 120 year old Victorian in Buffalo so you can imagine the challenges. He’s very reliable, communicates well and is a smart problem solver. No reservations in recommending him at all.
